Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (hereafter referred to as Google). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", i.e. text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on these websites, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and Internet usage to the website operator. The IP address provided by Google Analytics within the framework of Google Analytics will not be merged with any other data provided by Google to provide its services to the website operator.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by means of a corresponding setting of your browser software. However, we would like to make you aware that you may not be able to use all functions of this website in full. In addition, you may prevent the collection by Google of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address), as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in available under the following link and install: Browser add-on for disabling Google Analytics. In addition or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our pages by clicking this link. An opt-out cookie will be installed on your device. This will prevent data collection by Google Analytics for this website and for this browser in the future, as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

Use of Piwik

This website uses Piwik, an open source software for the statistical evaluation of visitor access. Piwik uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is stored on a server in Germany.

The IP address is anonymized immediately after processing and prior to its storage. You have the option to prevent the installation of cookies by changing the settings of your browser software. We point out that with the corresponding setting not all functions of this website may be available.

You can decide whether a unique web analytics cookie may be stored in your browser to allow the operator of the website to collect and analyze various statistical data.

Use of Adobe Analytics (Omniture)

This website uses Adobe Analytics, a web analysis service of Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited (“Adobe”). Adobe Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of your use of the website. If a tracking record is sent to the Adobe Data Center by a browser of a website visitor, then the server setting made by us ensures that the IP address is anonymized prior to geolocation, i.e. that the last octet of the IP address is replaced by zeros. Before the tracking packet is saved, the IP address is replaced by individual generic IP addresses. On behalf of the operator of this website, Adobe will use this information to evaluate users' use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address sent by your browser as part of Adobe Analytics will not be merged with any other data from Adobe. You can prevent the storage of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software. However, this offer notifies users that you may not be able to use all features of this website in their entirety. In addition, users may prevent the collection by Adobe of the data generated by the cookie and related to its use of the website (including your IP address), as well as the processing of such data by Adobe by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link. The current link is: http://www.adobe.com/de/privacy/opt-out.html

Analysis by WiredMinds

Our website uses the counting pixel technology of WiredMinds AG (www.wiredminds.de) to analyze visitor behavior.

Data is collected, processed and stored, from which usage profiles are created under a pseudonym. Wherever possible and meaningful, these usage profiles are completely anonymized. Cookies can be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files that are stored in the visitor's Internet browser and serve to recognize the Internet browser. The collected data, which may also contain personal data, will be transmitted to WiredMinds or collected directly by WiredMinds. WiredMinds may use information that is left by visiting the websites to create anonymized usage profiles. The data obtained without the separately granted consent of the person concerned will not be used to personally identify the visitor to this website and they will not be merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym. As far as IP addresses are recorded, their immediate anonymization takes place by deleting the last number block.

The collection, processing and storage of data may be objected to at any time with future effect at the following link: Exclude from website tracking

Use of the Scalable Central Measurement Method

Our website uses the "Scalable Central Measurement Method" (SZM) of INFOnline GmbH (http://www.infonline.de) for the determination of statistical parameters for the use of our offers.

In the process anonymous measurements are taken. The SZM range measurement alternatively uses either a cookie with the identifier "ioam.de", "ivwbox.de", a LocalStorage object or a signature, which is created from diverse automatically transmitted information of your browser for the recognition of computer systems. IP addresses are only processed in anonymized form.

The range measurement was developed in compliance with data protection. The aim of the range measurement is to determine the intensity of use and the number of users of a website statistically. At no time individual users are identified. Your identity always remains protected. You will not receive advertising through the system.

For web offers that are members of the Informationsgemeinschaft zur Feststellung der Verbreitung von Werbeträgern e.V. (IVW - http://www.ivw.eu) or that participate in the "Internet facts" study of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Online-Forschung e.V. (AGOF - www.agof.de), the usage statistics are published monthly by the AGOF and the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Media-Analyze e.V. (ag.ma - www.agma-mmc.de), as well as the IVW and can be downloaded at http://www.agof.de, http://www.agma-mmc.de and http://www.ivw.eu. In addition to the publication of measurement data, IVW regularly reviews the SZM procedure regarding its use in accordance with regulations and data protection.

Further information on the SZM procedure can be found on the INFOnline GmbH website (https://www.infonline.de), which operates the SZM procedure, the data protection website of AGOF (http://www.agof.de/datenschutz) and the privacy web site of the IVW (http://www.ivw.eu).

You can object to data processing by the SZM using the following links: http://optout.ioam.de and http://optout.ivwbox.de.

Use of the Scalable Central Measurement Method by means of an application

Our application uses the "Scalable Central Measurement Method" (SZM) of INFOnline GmbH (http://www.infonline.de) for the determination of statistical parameters for the use of our offers.

In the process anonymized measurement values are gathered. The SZM range measurement uses unique identifiers of the terminal to recognize devices, which are only transmitted in anonymized form. IP addresses are only processed in anonymized form.

Further information on the SZM procedure can be found on the INFOnline GmbH website (https://www.infonline.de), which operates the SZM procedure, the data protection website of AGOF (http://www.agof.de/datenschutz) and the privacy web site of the IVW (http://www.ivw.eu). Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)

In order to present our content correctly and graphically appealing on browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries on this website, e.g. Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts is transferred to the cache of your browser to prevent multiple downloading. If the browser does not support Google Webfonts or prohibits access, content will be displayed in a standard font.

Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. In doing so, it is theoretically possible – however, currently also unclear whether and if so for what purposes - that operators of such libraries collect data.

The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Using Adobe Typekit

We use Adobe Typekit for the visual layout of our website. Typekit is a service of Adobe Systems Software Ireland Ltd. which grants us access to a font library. To integrate the fonts we use, your browser needs to connect to an Adobe server in the US and download the font we need for our website. Adobe receives the information that your website has been accessed from your IP address and that we have downloaded the font we need for our website. For more information about Adobe Typekit, see the Adobe privacy policy, which you can access here: www.adobe.com/privacy/typekit.html

Using Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographic information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of map features by visitors. For more information about Google's data processing, please refer to the Google data protection guidelines. There you can also change your personal privacy settings in the data security center. For detailed instructions on how to manage your own data related to Google products, click here.

Embedded YouTube videos

On some of our websites we embed Youtube videos. The corresponding plug-ins are operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, it will connect to Youtube's servers. In the process Youtube will be informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your Youtube account, Youtube can associate your surfing behavior to you personally. This can be prevented by logging out of your Youtube account beforehand. If a Youtube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.

Anyone who has disabled the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program will not have to expect such cookies when watching YouTube videos. Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in the browser.

Further information on data protection at "Youtube" can be found in the data protection statement of the provider: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Google AdWords

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you have reached our website via an advertisement sent by Google, Google Adwords will set a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on a Google generated advertisement. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages on our website and the cookie has not expired, we and Google may recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked through AdWords advertisers' websites. The information gathered using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords advertisers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are informed of the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users.

If you do not want to participate in the tracking, you can refuse the required setting of a cookie - for example via a browser setting that generally disables the automatic setting of cookies or sets your browser to block cookies from the "googleleadservices.com" domain.

Please note that you cannot delete the opt-out cookies as long as you do not want to record measurement data. If you have deleted all your cookies in the browser, you must reset the respective opt-out cookie.

Using Google Remarketing

This website uses the remarketing feature of Google Inc. The feature is designed to present interest-based ads to web page visitors within the Google advertising network. A so-called "cookie" is stored in the browser of the website visitor, which makes it possible to recognize the visitor when he or she visits websites that are part of the advertising network of Google. On these pages, visitors may be presented with ads related to content that the visitor previously viewed on web pages using Google's remarketing feature.

Google states that it does not collect any personal information during this process. However, if you still do not want Google's Remarketing feature, you can always disable it by making the appropriate settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads, which uses Google's remarketing feature. Alternatively, you can disable the use of cookies for interest-based advertising through the network advertising initiative by following the instructions at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp
